Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Firefox 3.6 and its new tab behaviour

They altered the default new tab position in FF 3.6, so now a new tab from a link opens a new tab immediately after the source tab in an attempt to show the relation between them, rather than adding it to the end of the tabs. After many years of FF usage, I found this really annoying, so here's how to return to the original behaviour.

    Open about:config in FF.

    Agree to the warning prompt.

Search for the term related and you'll see an entry for browser.tabs.insertRelatedAfterCurrent, double click to set it to false and return to the previous behaviour.

I also noticed this, bugged me too as I was used to looking at the far right. Thanks

It's not a menu, it's a special URL to enter in the address bar.

For a brief history lesson also try about:mozilla.

Cheers. Forgive my stupidity. I learn something new every day. :D

This was the first thing that I had to change. It doesn't bother me in Chrome/Chromium for some reason. OT but loving personas.
