Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Fair play to Rooney for picking out Nani for attention after the cross for the third. Nani done well.

    Rooney <3

never thought I'd say this but Kudos to nani on a great ball in and a very good game in general. I was wrong to write him off without a fair chance on the RW it seems.

Let's hope Nani can maintain this sort of form, it'd be vital for our league challenge. With any luck, Anderson can find form too.

As someone who was hoping Nani would be sold in this transfer window, I must say I'm very impressed with him today. He's infinitely better on the right than on the left, but Valencia has no left foot so I can't see him playing anywhere else. Shame.

As the commentator said: The only way to tell them apart is that one is wearing short sleeves, one long sleeves. That, and the fact they're playing on opposite sides of the pitch.

Brilliant stuff, wish we'd scored a few more with all the chances we've had though.

Just gutted I accidently picked Agbonlahor as my FF captain and not Rooney :p Stupid iPhone...

    Great stuff.

Brilliant to have Rio back. Hopefully he wont get in trouble for his lash out at Fagan.

Great to see glimpses of Rooney linking up with Owen.

    Nani excellent.

    Rooney excellent.

    Scholes excellent.

    Park....not so excellent.

It would have been comical for rooneys second goal if he smacked it off the head off dawson and then rebounded to him and smacked it in

Rooney was awesome. I still don't understand why Valencia was dropped, for me he has been United's third best player this season behind Rooney and Evra.

I said a long time ago that Nani would be much better on the right, but his best position before he joined United was playing behind the front man and up the middle.

nice finish by rooney.berbs another assist .

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,617 ✭✭✭✭PHB

Rio better ****ing not get done for that swing, if he does, it'll be ****ign annoying. His presence today massively improved our defense, was clear as day. Long may it continue.

    Good performance today.

I hope Nani can keep his form. Park was woeful again :/
Owen's build up play was good, but not amazing. His finishing was poor. Berbatov still easily beats him.

I can see that. He's just unreal so any team losing a player of that quality is in trouble. But in our case, he's keeping the team going.

Thought Scholes was magnificent again today.

Aye - so it seems we have two decent RW and nobody for LW (excl. Mr. Giggs of course!)

Well done lads - great win :)

    not playing great

missing vital players for long periods

    top of the league.

If he gets injuried we'll deal with it then. Until now, we'll enjoy it :) Worrying is for old ladies.

Valencia has played a lot of games, good for him to be rested! Evra needs to be careful, he could get burned out.

great to have rio back ,he makes a huge difference .suppose he will get done for the swing on fagan.i thought nani was very good today but he is still behind valencia for RW.rooney was excellent 4 goals and he got through a mountain of work.park was piss poor as was gibson for the 15 mins he was on
