Lisa Courtney, a 21-year-old woman from the United Kingdom, has accomplished the feat of amassing the largest collection of Pokémon merchandise in the world.
Obtained over a span of thirteen years, Lisa's collection features 12,113 separate items. Her collection actually fills her family's house entirely. When asked about the record, Lisa said: "My family have been incredibly supportive considering the collection takes up the whole house, including my mother's room! I've even named the room where my main collection resides 'Pokémon Centre Europe!' To be in the new Gamer's Edition and to hold a world record for something you feel so passionate about is just an indescribable feeling."
This world record is officially recognized by Guinness World Records and awards Lisa Courtney a spot in Guinness World Records 2010 Gamer's Edition.

She was in the Metro Herald the other day though

I like to collect the merch myself, but even I think this is a bit much.....

I think she took "gotta catch 'em all" a bit too literally/seriously.

That is class. If you're going to be obsessive, you may as well do it properly!

I'm sure there's a Pokemon merchandise factory somewhere that has more than that...

Though as someone who still has the movie poster on the wall beside his DVD shelf, respect where respect is due :)

I think I'm content with just having the one Pikachu plushie... I think I'd get sick of them all by the time I got near a tenth of that size...

Would you still take it if you also had the choice of a lovely young, slightly slutty looking female trainer, who I so do very hope is legal soon?

What age is Misty ment to be?
I know Ash is ten and they are well gettin' it on behind closed doors.
I don't want to think she's only ten as well. :|

Dunno, but Ash and Misty both look older than they should be. Hm...

And then Brock comes into the equation!

Another case of the "anime physics", although in this case it's probably more "anime biology", where the characters don't show any signs of age.

Really wish that they'd stop that and make it obvious how old they are now...

Anyway, what does it matter? Legality is a matter of geography, not morality. I mean, in Mexico the age of consent is 12. Although "But senor, she looked 12 to me!" does leave a bad taste in my mouth.

Besides, this forum is called "Pokemon" not "most rideable trainer" so start talking about which 'Mon you'd like to poke, pronto!

For me, it'd have to be Lopunny.

I am so glad I'm not the only one.
Every time I see one, I worry myself.
