Setting up Broadband

I have just bought a new laptop and want to set up Broadband on it.

I have Eircom Broadband on my current laptop, what do I need to do to set it up on the new one?

I presume you are using wireless.. All you need is a WPA key and hopefully not WEP.. If you have a network cable plug it into the router and go to http:\\192.168.1.254 and in there you should have an option for wireless.. Click on that and you'll see the pre shared key.. That is what you are looking for...

Alternatively if you do not have a network cable use the old laptop and do the above steps hope that helps
