Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Was just glad someone scored, would prefer a loss than a draw to be perfectly honest.

I wonder how long it'll take Delap to dry the ball now.

Arsenal very lucky there, cutback could have easily fallen nicer for stoke

Great tackle Whelan. Seat of pants stuff though.

End to end now. How does Fuller keep running like that.

I don't like the way Stoke play football but you can't argue that it's not effective.

    Oh Ramsey....

    Here's Tuncay.

Stoke are running rampant here, should have been 4-1.

Well played Stoke deserved win. It was always going to be tough for Arsenal putting out an under-strength team at the Britannia

yeh arsenal need to get out of bed yet, still have a bet on them to win, and arsenal to win 3-1.

Interesting prediction that turned out to be, so far anyway, eh? :)

aye, i mentioned it once but I think I got away with it.

Fair play to stoke today, went out with a very good attitude and got rewarded.

Great game, Stoke fully deserve the win.

Brilliant from Stoke. Once again they're style of play has earned them their reward. Great attitude from them and really stopped Arsenal from playing today.

Sidibe was excellent today. Two assists from him and two goals at the end of his crosses. Fair play to them. The better team on the day.

well done stoke, not sure if i like your style of play, but you deserved to win

Absolutely outstanding second half performance from Stoke. Just as it looked as though Arsenal were going to get back into the game, the likes of Etherington and Delap really upped their game and made it very very difficult going. They held onto the ball well and tackled hard, and absolutely tore Arsenal apart on the counter towards the end. Fully deserving of the 3-1 scoreline (not something that often happens when Arsenal lose). Fullers a damn good forward when he wants to be, pity he's never made the most of his talents.

One of the worst second half Arsenal performances I've seen in a while now. In Cesc looked woeful today, nothing came off, touches were too heavy and too many and the defensive line was a bit of a joke at times, Campbell did well but faded towards the end, but the fullbacks were often miles ahead of where they should have been. Even with the introduction of the heavy artillery they just looked like a team that did not want to be there. They better not make a habit of this.

What the hecks happening? I really expected Arsenal to go a long way in the cup, looking at the teams remaining you can't see anyone but Chelsea winning it out... again.

Chelsea must be odds on for the cup now with all the other big four teams gone.

Obvious we have no interest in the compeitition.

Wow. This is a bit of a nuts FA Cup.

Kinda disappointed, as it will allow Arsenal to focus more on the league. Chelsea the only team still in contention for the treble this early in the season is pretty nuts.

Not a bad punt to be fair.

As an Arsenal fan I never like seeing them lose, but in the long run I'm relieved that we didn't force a replay. We don't need extra fixtures consideringthe run of games we have coming up. The FA Cup, for me, was a bonus/luxury that Arsenal, alas, could not afford to spend too much energy/resources on. Hopefully they can concentrate on the big two competitions now.

Surely Man City have a chance and i wouldn't rule out Tottenham either if they can get over Leeds. They have a poor record over Chelsea but are a good cup team. Villa are still there. They could beat Chelsea too.

In my opinion Wenger was fully justified with the team selection. We have 10 injuries to first team players, a point which Setanta didn't make when they were rambling on about how Chelsea could put out a full strength team. Sagna, Vermaelen and Gallas haven't had a break all season.

We can see now why Eastmond was chosen for the holding midfield role ahead of Coquelin in the last few games. Coquelin's passing was terrible. And he's supposed to be a central midfielder? If the ball went in the general vicinity of an Arsenal player and didn't go out of play, it was as if he got lucky. Traore had another nightmare and everyone fell asleep for the first goal.

Reassuringly, Campbell did well overall and showed he can provide decent cover if Gallas or Vermaelen get injured.

Cesc tried his best but he can't be expected to win every game on his own, although he still did get a nice assist.

Would have been a nice opportunity to win something, but we are in the midst of an injury crisis so expecting Arsenal to compete on three fronts was unrealistic in the extreme.
