The Mocks 2010 *Read first post before posting*

classification of vegetables (know 3)
Sodium & 4 properties of it
3 processes of dehydration or something!
diagram of mould and label parts (sporangium etc.)
3 effects of obesity in adults
Thats all i can remember of short Q's..
Long Q's
1. All about milk. ie. impotance of processing
2 methods of processing & their effects!
Vitamin C (Biological Uses, Sources and prperties)
Economic factrs & Food labelling impacts peoples food choices how?

Dont know Q2 or 3 (i didnt do them)
Q4 was all about housing fincance, mortgage interest types, house insurance, factors to conider before getting a mortgage..
Q5 was all about family. Role of old people in the family, How old people can become socially, physically and economically independant, and how can generation conflict be caused!
Elective Q on social studies was Poverty, and education and work ethic!

Oh yeah with

the fridge it was compresser and condensor and another short question was label a diagram of fungi , it looked like rhizopus to me but i think i got it confused with biology

Q1.hardnes of water (EDTA) name the indicator and colour change rincing pipette + transfering solns to conical flask another soln is added what is it? and why? some liquid splashed up the side of the conical flask how do you rectify this and why can you do it? calculation in moles /l and grams/l and ppm. if water was boiled would titer value be bigger smaller or same?

Q2: ethanoic acidwhat other substance should be placed in the flask why?
two ffeatures of preparations necessary to maximise the yield
colour change how do you isolate it two impurities show etahnol was the limiting reagent

DEB and examcraft are companies that make the mock papers.

DEB normally have just a barcode at top left whilst examcraft have tick.

There are three different companies that supply papers for the mocks to schools, DEB, MEB and Examcraft (DEB and Examcraft being the most popular)
If you want to find out what's on an upcoming paper for your mocks you have to find out which company your school is using (well in my case they use both DEB and Examcraft depending on the subject)

The way in which to differenciate between the papers is;
On DEB there is a large Barcode in the top corner of the front page where as on the Examcraft there's a small barcode on the top right and there's a tick on the paper.
I'm not sure about what the MEB papers look like to be honest.

Well if you do higher level english the DEB paper had

Jedward in one of the comprehensions

and the Examcraft had

comprehensions on Ladies day at the Galway races

My teachers did the same.. it's like they thought we were going to go and post them on boards.ie... they're onto us :P.

However i did manage to snag the Ordinary Irish papers for Examcraft so if anyone needs those pm me.

If only I had though of looking up mock papers a week ago. I have examcraft papers in higher English, Business, Religion. I also have ordinary level in Maths and Irish. I will have higher engineering and ordinary level Spanish tomorrow for those interested.
