Does anyone have the questions from the examcraft Biology paper?? Honours...Thanks!!
This is what i can remember from the HL Biology examcraft paper.Short questions:
Digestive system, ecology, equation for anerobic respiration, the respiratory system, and i can't remember the rest.
Experiments:
1)The experiment with the visking tubing for osmosis, you have to be able to draw it.
2)The onion experiment for DNA, you don't have to draw it but you have to know why you use certain things in the experiment, and you need to know the difference between DNA and RNA.
3)The effect exercise has on your heart rate or breathing (optional)
Long Questions:
1) Ecology
2)Genetics
3)Male reproductive system (label a diagram and know what the prostate does, another male hormone besides testosterone and some secondary sexual characteristics) and plant reproduction.
4)Enzymes (you have to talk about an enzyme experiment in it too)
5) It's a mixed question, the ear and the kidney is in it
6) Making ethanol experiment and then you have to write notes on 3 of 5 topics, benefits of biological breastfeeding, ATP, Pollution and i think the other two options were on The transpiration stream or something like that and the theory of natural selection (i'm not 100% sure though)

4) Enzymes that digest lipids (yano the big chart with 4 columns and 2 rows, fill in 6 out of 8, is for Liver (given) and Ileum (not given) under the headings Organ, Secretion, Enzymes, Product)
5) what is HACCP and how is it useful to retailers 3 reasons
6) difference between annuity and endowment
7) radura symbol what is it and 2 negatives of irradiation
8) 3 ways to increase fibre and what is ___? (really long word, a health condition, can't remember it, presume it has to do with lack of a nutrient to do with fibre)
9) 3 different methods of cooking and 1 example for each (like radiation and grilling etc.)
10) Q about fabrics and fabric conditions and types, labels that have to be on upholstries etc.

iii) Explain the process of making flour and how it is packaged. (18 marks)

i) Explain inputs, throughputs, outputs (9 marks)
ii) 5 Factors affecting decision making in a household (like socio-economic status etc.)
(can't remember the rest)
Q5
i) Technologial changes in society and how has this effected the elderly
ii) How does the family support the physical and physcological needs of the elderly in the home
iii) 2 things about the Domestic Violence Act 1996
Elective 1:
i) name 2 renewable sources and how they can be brought into the home
ii) 5 ways to offset carbon emissions
iii) 2 gases that negatively impact the atmosphere and explain
and
i) name 5 factors that influence lighting in a room
ii) name 2 types of things about light (like it absorbs and reflects)
Elective 2:
i) Evaluate 2 childcare facilities in your area
ii) Changing patterns of work
iii) Conditions of work enabling people to participate
Elective 3:
i) Work patterns
ii) Work availability
iii) Why poverty still affects Ireland, it's effects.

Has anyone done the DEB or Examcraft Economics? Although I'm fairly sure we've DEB papers in my school.
It's my last exam 2moro but I'm not very confident. My teacher gave us the tips that :demand, supply and elasticity was coming up, and she mentioned Nama, national income, and obviously one of the forms of competition has to come upbut if anyone has either papers especially whichever one mentions the above ^ I'd be really grateful if they could post the information or pm me with it 0 -
