    Hi there,
Any one know where I might pick up an inexpensive popcorn machine?

Argos don't seem to do them anymore, and I can't get delivery from Amazon to Ireland for those sort of kitchen goods.

    Suggestions much appreciated!!
    Thanks

Take one metal mixing bowl, place on hob. Done.

Also better than most popcorn poppers, see below:

Air popcorn makers tend to make it taste like Styrofoam.
Home popped with a heavy pot and smidgen of oil tends to taste better.

    And don't forget the salt!
Though to be honest, if you don't eat it within ten minutes, it's pretty bland anyway. Unless I'm cooking it from scratch, I rarely touch the stuff.

Until you drown it in toffee and nuts, that is.

Thanks, but we've used the pot on stove technique for years now, and I'm sick of cracking fillings with the unpopped kernals, half the bowl goes into the bin as they're all hard!

If you know where i can get a popcorn machine, please let me know! Thanks!

    Half the bowl?
    Erm...
Stupid question, but you are adding oil to the kernels at the start, right?

Sparks, she wants a bloody popcorn maker. Suggestions about on-the-stove popcorn making are not helpful.

    Glowing, ebay.ie have a few.

I've checked on Amazon, and there's no reason you shouldn't be able to get one sent to Ireland.
Baby, Beauty, Clothing, DIY & Tools, Electronics, Health (excluding medicine), Home & Garden, Jewellery, Kitchen, Office Products, Shoes, Sports and Watches items

    * United Kingdom (England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales), Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland (Republic of), Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain and Sweden.

I also checked a Marketplace seller, who ships to Ireland.
