ITEC Diploma? (Psychology)

Hey I'm considering doing a distance learning course and the qualification is an ITEC Diploma in Psychology levels 1&2. I was just wondering if anyone knew what happens after this, like would it help me get into university, or would i get a job from it directly? If this is the wrong forum to post this just let me know!
