    hi

i really want to go back to college. im working at the moment earning €400 a week (taken a huge paycut and no sign of it ever coming back) and its the most mind numbing soul destroying job ive ever done,i wouldnt be entitled to redundancy coz im 1.5 years in the job and theres no talk of me being let go but they are letting some people go in a few months if things dont get better. ive seen a course that i want to do and its three years full time, my other half is unemployed and were renting, should i give up altogether?

I think you should stick in your job until at least July, if you quit now your not going to be able to start your course until September, also check to see if you can do that course as an evening course. Most full time courses are available as part time courses now.

There's half a year between now and September. If your company are currently making redundancies there might be a second round then and i'm sure you wouldn't have to pay registration fees etc before September anyway...
