Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I listen to stations all around the world now and am not restricted to "Talk to joe" or "gerry" or "pat" or "ryan" which seems to occupy so much of this space with contributors commenting on the nuances regarding their shows here, seemingly daily.

While there is something good in much irish radio, the re is also something good in much of non Irish radio.

I listen to TALK702 with John Robbie sometimes, and also to national Public radio in the USA. I prefer talk radio and tis really interesting to listed to talk rado in, say, Singapore or Sydney, or ALaska or Hong Kong.

I agree! You can post whatever station it is, Irish or other... I agree there is some fantastic US talk radio. I would be an avid listener of the Savage Nation with Michael Savage (can be slightly OTT but always great entertainment!)

The Ozzy music radio I really like, Nova 969 and so on and from the UK stations I think Capital 95.5 is miles ahead!

I'm really only getting to grips with my new internet radio, but really love that I am no longer condemmed to only listen to local radio! Its so liberating.

I like BBC R4 and World Service. Both very entertaining and informative. WS was great for an English language fix when away, back in the day.

A little known fact is that Matt Cooper's unusual second name is "Widdus".

    Right now, Morning Ireland.

    Overall:
    - RTE 1 Morning Ireland before leaving for work
    - 103.2 DCFM Live Drive when commuting in the car - the traffic news is outstanding and the music suits me
    - Lyric FM (usually The Blue of the night on playback) via the web in the office when I want to block out the office noise & concentrate
    - Radio Wales MW for Cardiff City FC commentary (awful reception)
    - BBC World Service when I'm doing odd jobs, via internet radio
    - Classical KUSC via iTunes, sometimes in the office. Really nice music.

I am listening to Zenith Classic Rock online. This is operating under a temporary licence for the south-east area of Ireland.

Some great tunes that you rarely, if ever, hear on other Irish radio stations - certainly not on a regular basis.

Here I am again listening to Zenith Classic Rock online. Other stations that I listened for any credible length of time today included: Newstalk, 4FM, Energy (Power) AM and Phantom FM. Sad, yes I know!

Anyway, the deejay on at the moment on Zenith is Andrew Looby. He is very professional.

    ~0600 - 0700 BBC 5 Live
    0700 - 0800 Radio 1
1700- 1900 flicking between Today FM and Newstalk
Midnight to whenever I sleep BBC 5 Live

Will listen to top 40 on BBC radio 1 on Sunday.

Mainly Newstalk during the day - Tom Dunne is entertaining most of the time
The guy on around lunch time is turning into Joe Duffy sensationalizing everything looking for mass approval.

Today FM with Matt Cooper can be good too.

    Overall Good station though

Currently listening to The Edge, Canadian rock music show with hilarious presenters. Especially love the Dean Blundell Show on this station, which is on from 10am-3pm (our time). Lighthearted and better than any of the rubbish broadcasting we have over here. Then I switch over to Matt Cooper on the way home from work in the evenings.
