Rear wiper not working! Motor gone?

Rear wiper on the back of my Mk4 Golf stopped midway through a long journey on Saturday. It's pretty much at half-mast. No response when I flick its controller.

Do you reckon the motor is gone? Or is there a quick fix? Should I just get onto my indy mechanic or a VW garage?

Brutal timing as I'll be putting her up for sale this week after I pick up my new set of wheels on Weds/Thurs.

Did you check the fuse? If you did try to listen to see if the motor is buzzing maybe.

Pardon my lack of knowledge, but how/where would I check the fuse?

I haven't listened out for the motor yet. Well at least not outside while directly beside it. I haven't heard a kick out of it while in the drivers seat.
