Pokémon manga readers?

    So, I'm sitting here wondering whether anyone else has enjoyed the series in a medium that most people really wouldn't have known existed - the many different types of Pokémon manga?
    Specifically looking for readers of Pokémon Special (or Adventures, as it is known in English).

    It's not all about the games you know! Although the games are still win, especially SoulSilver!


    And before you suggest trying the Anime + Manga forum, this forum is more specialised towards the topic I'm trying to convey!

    Special is made of absolute win. I'm still a little too hyped up about the recent announcement that the series will continue with the HeartGold and SoulSilver arc sometime this year, to be able to talk about it in a normal, sane manner.

    But, still not as win as Ruby though :D

    I've heard good things about Special, but I've only been able to track down the main volumes, only the "Red Collection" and "Yellow Collection" that I found in Forbidden Prices Planet.

    I am able to get the Diamond and Pearl Adventure! ones and I do recommend them as they are a rather funny spin on the DP storyline.

    With a reoccurring Team Galactic Member with wiggling bum cheeks, you know you are in for a good laugh with this manga

    Those would be the "Best Of" series VIZ released when they gave up their original production run after the RGB and the Yellow series. But they are starting to re-release the entire series, and they've actually managed to progress into the GSC arc.

    If you're willing to pay extra though (about €20 each) you can get them imported from Singapore, where they have them all up to Volume 31 translated.

    Haven't read DPA myself though, really want to - although I'm not sure if that's just because of Mitsumi... :o
