    Hi,

I live with a good mate mine who is Australian. Considering it is Australia day today I thought I would pick him up a 6 pick of Aussie beer on the way home to celebrate. Now I know you can buy certain Aussie beers in bars like the Woolshed and the Porter House but wouldn’t mind going to an Off License to save some coin! Anyone here know of an Off License in the city centre which stocks Aussie beer?

    Many thanks,
    Nick

Carvill's Off License, Camden Street should have some Colds or Tooheys. Also Molloys have some but they're not around town. O'Briens also have Carlton, Tooheys and VB. You might even get some in Tesco.

Carvill's is a good bet. There's a Mollys on Francis St just off Thomas St (Cornmarket end). O'Neills on the South Circular Rd opposite Griffth College could be worth a try.

Probly a bit late but... Molloys in Nutgrove, Bolands in Rathmines both sell Coopers, Tooheys etc.

Also O'Briens usually have a selection of beers from down under...

    Enjoy:cool:

Fosters is brewed by Heineken Ireland I thought , used to be beamish & crawford anyways, the 8 pack of that was fantastic :D, Heineken charge a rip off price for it though unfortunately now :(

Bumping this in the hope someone might be able to suggest where I could get some Australian beer? Tried O'Briens in Clontarf, and Tesco, but no luck so far

Try the beer specialists: McHugh's, Martin's, DrinkStore or the like.

Does Tesco not stock Coopers any more?

But yeah, if you are near Clontarf, head around to either Martin's in Fairview or McHugh's in Artane.

Redmonds in Ranelagh. The off licence attached to the Laurels Pub in Perrystown used to stock Coopers, VB and Tooheys.

Redmonds usually have Boags - used to be able to get Boag's light in the off licence in Whelans also
