Looking at one of these myself - a quick question though. Someone told me that the 5404 doesn't have a DTT tuner, and that I'd need to go for the 5604 to get that. Have I been correctly informed?

You have been misinformed I'm afraid.

The 32PFL5404H has the MPEG4 tuner on board.

Just for the record he main difference between the 5404 and 5604 is the later is a FULL HD screen.

Which would you like???

I was thinking of the 32PFL5404H. How would this be for XboX ?

Would you recommend a 26" LCD with mpeg4 for Irish Digital TV ?

Thanks for contacting us.

I only have one 32PFL5404H remaining, its my last one and is on display.
you can have it for €399.99 (it normally sells for €449.99) with a 2 year warranty.
You have 3x HDMI inputs and 2x SCART inputs so have a bit of growing space there!

Where abouts would it need to be delivered too???

The new 26PFL3405H will have a MPEG4 tuner and is scheduled for June release and should sell at €429.99
This TV will be one of the new LED Edge-Lit LCD models so should have a nice and contrasty image.

The replacement for the 32PFL5404H will be into us eta end of May/early June and is called the 32PFL5405H
This TV is a 100Hz model with a 2ms response time (the 5404H is 50Hz/5ms response time) it would make for a better games screen but it will be priced higher at €599.99.
