The back door from the utility is an aluminium door and always very cold... in fact the room gets very cold. I have added extra insulation to the room and the last thing left to do is lag the interior of the door and then fix a thin wooden panel to the interior.

Has anyone down this before... does it work?

if is an aluminum door, i would be thinking that the door is getting wet from condensation. if it is covering the door with a thin sheet of timber would only cause mold to grow,

the problem is that an aluminum door will always get wet the condensation, is got to do with the warm air in the house and the cold air outside. im not sure what you could do ??

Thats the thing about aluminium, hot when its hot and cold when its cold.
The only solution is to install a PVC door.
