Returning to Secondary Teaching after 20 years!

I did my H.dip in Ed twenty odd years ago and haven't taught in a secondary school since. However I have been teaching ESOL/EFL for the past sixteen years including giving teacher training courses. The ESOL/EFL business is suffering along with many other businesses and I have started to wonder if I could work, as a sub or otherwise, as a secondary school teacher. The main issue would be familiarity with the curriculum so my question is this, are there refresher courses or curriculum familiarity courses for individual subjects? I would appreciate any information and/or advice. Thanks.
