Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

What's the best type of stone to use, considering the water flow and also cost, and what would be a roundabout figure for a truck load please? Drain would be in peaty soil.

    John

In the ideal situation you would have a course garvel surrounding the pipe and covering with a finer gravel on top, but not so fine that it will enter the courser gravel, its all about bridging factors.
But then again it all depends on the level of flow your going to have in the drain and the catchment area.
As regards what a load costs about 10 - 12 yoyo's a load of stone, not sure on the price of pea gravel.
