And for those of you at the other end of the county who may find Curry too far away.

A special benefit night for Haiti is being held by the UpFront Club in Barry’s Pub, Grange on Saturday 30th January at 9.30pm

The special benefit night on Sat 30th features a number of regular and new acts. These include Wayne O’Connor, well-known singer songwriter and performer in the Sligo area; Hanneke Laura, originally from Holland, singing her own compositions; classic rock/blues outfit “Easy Rider”; jazz/country guitarist Bernard Tohill; singer-songwriters Ricky McDowell, John Bartlett, Adrian O’Flanagan and others on the night.

A great night’s music is in store. Everyone is welcome. There’s no entrance charge this month, and all the musicians play for free, but there’ll be collections on the night, with all proceeds going to Irish charities working to help Haiti in its recent disaster.

I'm locking this thread as the event has passed so it's no use to anyone now.

Hope it was a good turnout.
