    One more question, W license, I'm presuming you dont show up at the test centre in your JCB, how do you get the W?? Do you just qualify if you've a B??

    If you're doing a W test then you'd need to turn up in a suitable vehicle so yes you would need your JCB/tractor etc.
    Do you just qualify if you've a B??

    Once you pass the driving test yes.

    Yeah I've got a full B license and it's up for renual so figure I'd jazz it up with a W too

    I'm not sure if this still happens but the examiner used to arrange to travel to the prospective W licence holder.

    (16 year olds would have to do a W test if they wished to have a full W as they are too young to have a B).
