Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Rolled up jeans

I was doing a bit of perusing thinking of buying a pair of Nudie jeans and noticed that pretty much all the pics on their website had the jeans rolled up a bit. Being a lad that really knows nothing about fashion apart from "uhh yeah, that looks ok," what's the story with it?

Rolling up the legs of jeans is a time honoured thing. It was popular way back in the rock n' roll era, made a resurgence amongst the punks and ska revival trends of the early 80's and now with the resurgence of rockabilly it's a fashionable thing again.
    I like it.
It's INFINATLY better then that horrible thing of wearing your trousers too long, fraying the ends and having them constantly wet & covered in mud half way up your leg.

    I'm older than Minecraft goats.

+ It looks extra cool if you're wearing converse.

It's called pinrolling, but only looks good if you do it properly. I'm sure there's a few tutorials online

    think there's one here

The majority of Nudie jeans are selvedge denim so the turned up cuff is ostensibly to show off the selvedge line.
