Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

This applies to any situation you can think of. Opening a file, placing a cursor in a text field, clicking 'OK'... whatever. Sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesn't. It first occurred when I was using Dropbox and tried to download a Word file. It seemed to be struggling a bit and when I finally got the file open, this phenomenon began.

I realise it could be a hardware thing, but the way it began seems a bit strange, to me.

Does it sound like anything you have heard of?

Try your mouse on a friends pc, or get a lend of a friends mouse.

Id say its your mouse, because its an intermittent problem

Swap the mouse buttons around in the contol panel and see if that rules out the mouse itself.

Ok, I ran Glary Utilities and CCleaner and it seems to have gone away now!

    Strange...

I was thinking it might be a virus that snuck through Dropbox or something. But I have Avast! and it is usually quite good at picking up stuff, I might run a check anyway. Through all this, my right-click was working fine, as did my 'tap-to-click'.
