Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

New Monitor Purchase - Dell

Looking to buy a large (>20in) monitor, and have pretty much decided on the Dell SP2309W.

    http://accessories.euro.dell.com/sna/productdetail.aspx?c=uk&l=en&s=dhs&cs=ukdhs1&sku=193757

It got a fairly good write up in Custom PC recently, and CNET. Apparently its only real flaws are viewing angle (due to the type of monitor) and the unusual native resolution

Anyone any experience with this monitor, or any suggestions for something similar for < £200?

The slightly larger but lower resolution ST2410 seems a similar bet

    Panel Size:
    23"
    Optimal Resolution:
Higher than FULL HD 2048 X 1152 at 60 Hz

Seems like a bit of overkill tbh. I'm running a 22" @ 1920x1080 and at a regular view distance you be squinting to see those extra pixels. I dont know if the high contrast ratio is important for you but 50K:1 does me fine.

My screen btw is the ST2210, its actually 21.5, but whats half an inch.

Got it a month or two for E170 off the top of my head, came within the week. 2/5ms response times(graygray/colour), no noticeable screen drift. Very bright but has a good energy rating[Energy efficient — Consume less energy with a monitor that uses 2 CCFL lamps as opposed to the 4 lamps used by conventional monitors.]

TBH I've found no flaws other than the case is very fingerprint prone:)
