    Hi,

My (once)trusty 95 VW transporter has given up on me so I need a new van.
I dont need a big van this time and have settled on a 06'ish peugeot partner or citroen berlingo. Has anyone any experience with these. Im not sure if I should get the 2.0 HDI or the straight 1.9, Ive been told the HDI can be costly to fix if something happens to go wrong. Are the HDI engines reliable in general??

THe non turbo 1.9 is the slowest thing Ive ever been in Id say. Get the 2.0 hdi or even the later 1.6 hdi. Im sure they are more expensive to fix and more likely to go wrong being a turbo etc but still, HDI is the one.

Father drove a Berlingo, had a problem with the relay that worked the
glow plugs. That and the fuel pump acted up for a while apart from that
    fine little van.
