The O2 Dublin (O2's blue room bar)

Went to see We will Rock you in the O2 on Sunday past.

May be in the wrong place here, but I certainly felt I had been ripped off.

Went to bar and asked for a Pint and a 7-up or sprite, whatever they had.

Got a pint and a "glass" of sprite that came out of a 2ltr plastic bottle.
Now this was a very small glass, probably 100-125ml measure.

Firstly, is this legal to sell Sprite from the plastic bottle like this, but more importantly, is it fair to be charged €3 for the Sprite???

Before the usuals pipe up with hard luck you paid for it etc etc etc, I was in company, and didnt want to embarress the friend who wanted the sprite in the first place!

I estimate that that 2litre plastic bottle was worth 30 euro or so, which I could have bought in Tescos for 1.75

Im in the wrong feckin business!!!!!

O2 Dublin, ye should hang yer head in shame!

YES They can do it.
AND People pay them for it -

so why not.

I only wish I could do it.

Prob was!

Pint of luke warm Carlsberg and a tiny small glass of sprite that was blatantly poured in front of my eyes from a plastic 2 litre bottle came to 9euro in total!

I'll say it again......

I am not surprised in the least of the prices you paid!!
