UPC Slow in Dublin 2

Hi folks, for the last few nights i've had really slow speeds in Dublin 2 with UPC. My package is 8 Mbs but irish isp test tells me my download is between 500 and 600 kbps. Ping times to google are between 150 and 400 ms. Has anyone else experienced a similar speed issue in or around Dublin 2 recently? Thanks.

Hi folks,

for the last few nights i've had really slow speeds in Dublin 2 with UPC. My package is 8 Mbs but irish isp test tells me my download is between 500 and 600 kbps. Ping times to google are between 150 and 400 ms.

Has anyone else experienced a similar speed issue in or around Dublin 2 recently?

Do you normally get the full speed? You on cable? I would suggest resetting the modem or checking your firewall settings.
