Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Problem with Samsung Digimax Cyber530

    I have a problem with a Samsung digital camera, Digimax Cyber530.
    It's about 2.5 years old.

    When I turn on, after about a minute the "Low Battery" is displayed and the camera switches off.

    Tried it with several sets of new batteries, same problem, even measured them with a volt meter.

    Any ideas ?

    It was 100 euros new. Any repair will cost you more than what it is worth, so unless you can diagnose the fault yourself you will be cheaper just replacing it.

    I can't think of what might be at fault right now. :( Short circuit?

    It was 181.50euro including a 1gig memory card.

    I hear what your saying, I don't really want to spend money on it,
    but I don't want to toss it away with out having a go either.

    Someone might have come across this problem before and might have a solution or a definite "It can" or "can't be fixed".

    I forgot to add, when I take out the batteries after the problem occurs, they still measure full.
