Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Gmail account not working

    Hi,

    A couple of months ago my gmail account stopped letting me log in with my usual password. I tried contacting google through their online help service but they kept e-mailing me back saying I hadn't given them enough info on the online form i completed (my email address, previous password, 5 most emailed addresses etc) even though I had completed it the best I could considering I couldn't actually log in to my account and view a lot of the info they were requesting! I had given up on using it again but maybe someone here might be able to offer some advice to help me get access to my account again.

    look for saved passwords in your browser. Other than that if google have turned you down there is nothing we can do.

    just a suggestion, mightn't work at all but you could try to log in to gmail using an email client like mozilla thunderbird. then you might be able to change your password.

    have you tried logging into google accounts here? might(n't) work though.

    if the passwords are incorrect, logging in no matter where will make no difference.

    Thanks for the replies. I know my password and I haven't changed it so it should let me log in, but it won't :mad:. So bloody annoying. I wish I could get through to someone in google but because I can't complete their online forms with the info they are requesting, I am not getting any contact from an actual human being. I mean I have my email/username, I know what my last password was and the answer to my security questions, so surely I should be able to get some assistance with all that info!!!

    Also, now I have just tried again to reset my password but I am being told that 'there are no google accounts registered to my username'. WTF?

    I'm guessing your account was used for spamming and deleted then.

    Ah Christ, is that what happened? Son of a bitch. Any ideas how someone would have got access to my account to do that? Can google help in any way with this?
