Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hey, guys, sorry if this doesn't fall quite into "Radio", but I don't see an active podcasting forum. My question is also more general.

    I'm looking to buy a mic. I want the MXL 990 Condenser w/ Shock Mount. However, other than Amazon, are there any other place to buy from? Any local shops? I'm in Dublin. Prefer to buy local. Peats doesn't seem to carry any nor do any of the major sites (i.e., Komplett, Dabs, Play).

    most music people will buy from www.thomann.de if they do not buy it from their local music store. I've dealt with them on about five occasions and they are very professional.

    They carry the mic and ship to Ireland. Lowest price so far.

    I called Big Bear Sound. They didn't have it in-stock, but they can order it. Good to know there is a local audio store.

    I use a couple of Røde mics for podcasting, a little pricier than the MXLs you're looking at but really excellent mics
