Banks not lending!!!!

Tried to get a loan the other day and was refused - only a few years ago they were offering me a €10k loan and now i'm looking for half that they don't want to know. I work fulltime - granted I have a mortgage and bills but i'm not too bad off IMO. Are they just not lending at the moment or whats going on?

I'm shocked that you continue to try and justify the posts you made above. You wonder why a bank "might" decline such an application? Really?

You pretty much dissed the opinion of 3DataModem which IMO (he) is 100% correct. The fact you mentioned "execution only" advice in the same breath as a mortgage application is shocking to say the least. You are supposed to be a broker? Are you serious?
