Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

going to Oz alone

    hi there,

    I'm planning on going to Oz at the end of the summer 2010, my boyfriend is not coming with me :(

    so far there are 2 friends that are interested in coming too but im not sure if they are going to tie me down??!

    has anybody gone to Oz alone before n would they reccommend it?!!:confused:

    Im thinking of heading off on my own too so I would be very interested to hear about other peoples experiences of it!

    I think its a bit daunting to be honest but I kind of feel that its now or never!

    It would be great to hear from people who have done it!

    I haven't been to Oz but I did go to work in Florida before on my own and it was brilliant. Ended up staying there nearly 6 months. Loads of other people doing the same thing i.e. traveling on their own! I've heard the exact same about Oz. And the Irish are really popular worldwide so I'd totally recommend it.

    I'm planning on going to Thailand for 3 months in the summer on my own, mainly to fitness train for 6-8 weeks and hopefully I'll have made some friends to chill out with for a month or so after!
