Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

How long is a piece of string eh?

What should 70 acres of good cork grassland with 60 cubicles, and 2 silage pits be getting in rent?

    I can't tell you.

But anyone who can will need to know what the single payment with the land is worth? They will also need to know if it is a long term lease (ie. 6 years) or short term lease (ie. 11 months).

well...we were paying €1300 for 8 acres of poor land-vy poor-badly reclaimed land, some of it has about an 2 inchs of clay-it would want a foot of dung on it-then reploughed,etc...
mans looking €2k for it this year...
    has no chance!
it was worth mayb €500 at most-until it improves!
we just had horses+dry stock on it..all it is--is a run!

11 months, and does the SFP still go to the tenant these days?

depends on the agreement...9 times out of 10 it would be, part of the price per acre!

    what 70 acres X €150-175...
    yard rent €1000-2k...
    no?

if sps on top-divide it by 70--and add in per acre!

    remember--no sps after 2013..so factor that in-if its a 5 yr lease,etc...

    70 acres @ 150= 10,500
    yard = 1000

    SFP is 2500.

I thought the owner of the land would get this, not the tenant.

or does the tenant have to claim the SFP and then pay it to the owner along with the rent?

be bullt in with that land...ie you be paying

    10500 + 1000 +2500 = 14000 in total,u'd be paying for rent of the land...that could be mimuimun

so the tenant claims the SFP, and then pays it back to the owner?

    depends on the agreement made..
likd ur man might add the price per acre + the sfp per acre..and then charge ya that!
thats the way it is up our way..
neighbour is paying €280 an acre, which is €145 sfp + €135 for the land

and then your neighbour claims the SFP?
