Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

hairspray on lense

Hairpsray got on my lense during a shoot (should have had the protective filter on it, I know). There are now speckles on the lense and they show up whenever I shoot towards the sun ie evening shot etc. They won't rub off. Any suggestions on how to remove it without damaging the lense any further. thanks.

be careful with isoproyl, if may take the coating off

just try first with a damp soft cloth

I was once told (and i'd love to find to hear other people opinions) that your salivia with a proper microfibe cloth is one of the best things you can you can use to clean your lens.
    ...I've yet to try it!

Blow on it (haw) and rub it off, I had some on one of mine and it shifted.

You can get camera lens alcohol wipes in most camera shops, always handy to have in your bag., I got a load of Carl Zeiss ones from that camera shop in talbot street, think its called Halls., :)
