Long story short. Hopefully!

We are trying to organise broadband and phone for our apartment that we bought last year. Rang Vodafone to turn it on but it turns out the developer used our apartment as a site office originally and they never deactivated their account and even stranger i sthey have been paying the bills ever since.

I tried contacting them and they said they would sort it out but still not done. I rang Eircom and they said that the deveolper needs to cancel and the only thing I can do is get a new line installed( cost 107 EUR).

Can anybody think of way of forcing the deactivation?
