Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

very subjective question i know but Im curious to get opinions...

Do light coloured windows eg pine look ok with dark timber floors eg walnut or do they clash?

Interested in your opinions, ideally id like to see a house with pine windows (or larch/ douglas fir) with dark timber floors to make up my own mind but most window manufacturers can only show unfinished houses for obvious reasons. Even interiors magazines show mostly windows with white/ cream painted interiors so its hard to get an idea if the windows and floors will clash.

    What do ye think?

Tape a piece of light brown paper around your window and a darker piece onto the floor in front of it. It'll give you a good sense of whether or not it works.

Go to any floor/door shop ot the likes of Des Kelly Carpets or BarginTown and get a small sample of both woods and put them together. Then you will see how good or bad they are together.

    SIMPLES.:)
