Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I have a laptop with XP and Suse on it and i need to take a ghost image of it. Is there any free software i can use to do this? I have googled and they all say they are all singing and dancing, which is great but has anyone used any of them or know of any that are recommended?

do you want an image of the entire disk? i.e. including windows and suse? In that case, I'd recommend using clonezilla, not overly user friendly, but once you get the hang of it, it's great. completely free and can run off a boot disk / flash drive.

    Clonezilla (as already stated)

    DriveImage XML

    Macrium Reflect

    etc...

Clonezilla's actually pretty easy to use. Just leave the default settings and read the onscreen instructions.

    Clonezilla +1

You'll need a sector based imaging software as you have unix on there too.
DriveImage XML & Macrium Reflect use windows vss (file based) so are windows only.
