Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Tincture of Iodine, in and eye dropper, three times a day. I got it on a finger a few years ago. Locum doctors had me on every antibiotic known to book learning  Finally got a reaction to all the meds, went for a second opinion. Dump the antibiotics, use iodine :)

    Its a horrible disease then.

Do your sheep suffer from it much? Do you use that vaccine, the one where you scratch lambs on the inside of the leg?
We had it a good few years back and we used that vaccine for a few years afterward, and we haven't had any trouble with it now for a while thank God...

I didn't find it too bad, just kept it covered and iodined, it's a bit sore as I got it on a knuckle.

We get the odd bit of Orf. I use Hovets Orf-M, Ovaloids, and a disinfectant spray. Seems to help the lambs deal with it. The worst case I ever saw was in a ewe belonging to my dad that a neighbour had for a while. She was a fine sheep before it but wasn't half as good afterwards. I can't think of a part of that sheep that didn't have it :(

Sounds like "Scabivax". Works very well for me but not great in the damp weather.
