Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

28mm lens...

    ok, another probably dumb question, but a 28mm lens... what's it used for?

    I see conns have a used one for canon for sale, and my dad wants his lenses back, so i will soon be lensless... would it be any good for general stuff, street scenes, that kind of thing?

    I've seen some sample shots, and i like them... was just wondering what you guys thought?

    It depends on the Body.

    If it's on a Cropped Body (I am assuming it is) then it's equivalent to 45mm in Full Frame, which would make a Normal lens.

    If it's fast (large aperture, 2.8 or less) then it can be quite useful as a general use lens.

    yeah, it'd be on a 10D... and it's a 2.8.
