    Hey there, have inherited a plane in unbuilt form. a trainer luckily. wanted to know where is best to get the engine and controller and servos? dublin? or internet? dont mind second hand as long as the engines not too powerful or not powerful enough. any ideas?

    would you or anyone know anything about an MFA (model flight accessories) yamamoto? Im missing a few parts and want to know whats the ideal motor and controller for it.

    When I started flying glowfuel (nitro) models there were two planes you could get ... one was the Precedent Hiboy and the other was the Yamamoto. Both were very strong trainers, stronger than the models sold today, but also a bit heavier. They flew well.

    Everybody flying for more than eight years at a flying club or so has flown either one or the other at some stage!
    It's designed for a .40 to .45 size engine with a 6oz fuel tank, or if you prefer electric - a 500-750 watt motor with a 4 - 5 cell battery of 3200 mAh size and a 10 x 6 propeller.
