Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Put the camera into bulb mode (its the shutter length speed after 30 secs) and hold down the shutter for as long as you want. If you get a remote cable release, you can lock the shutter open want simply leave the camera for desired time

I think the OP is actaually looking for an intervalometer type device. you can get a non-canon one on www.linkdelight.com for about 25 quid. will post a link later if I am on my pc

you are looking for something like this. They had one of these last week for the 50d, but it looks like there's none now. Should be able to get one on ebay

Can't remember for sure but I think the software that comes with Canon DSLR's might include this feature. You run it from a laptop/notebook. very handy if it's for use at home.

I know they do them on deal extreme. My mate got one but now has no use so he might be selling it. I'll ask him
