Do you read? If not, why dear god WHY not? :( Otherwise, what do you read?
To my shame, I don't read nearly as much as I should. I started off well in September, but it's slowly gone downhill since. I'm nearly finished reading Othello, so hopefully I'll read all that before the weekend is out. I also got a good bit into Moby Dick. This stupid laptop is the reason for me not reading as much as I should.

Can you dance? If not, do you dance anyway? :D
I don't think I'm very good. But yeah, I dance from time to time. I even set up a forum request for a dancing forum tonight. Dancing isn't really my thing, but I was a bit surprised there's no forum for it...

Don't you know about the bird?
I've no idea what you're talking about.

Was there any question you were hoping to get?
    My favourite words.
What language I'd like to speak

    Describe yourself in ten words.
I'm not good at judging myself in only ten words.
Opinion on people wearing gaa jerseys(etc) as everyday wear?
gah jerseys are for gah matches
    Your favourite soup and crisps?
    My mam's homemade vegetable soup
Any crisps really....I'm not a big crisp eater so I couldn't give a favourite. My dad loves the parsnip flavoured ones from M&S though

    :)

    My favourite words:
Ambiguous, enigmatic, distaste, orange, bourgeois, fantastical, candid, wistful

I'd love to learn Icelandic. I love the sound of songs by Sigur Ros and Bjork. Though I do know that a lot of Sigur Ros stuff isn't an actual language.

Dunno about thrilling, but the best night of my life was the Cwork party a few weeks ago. I had such a good night in ways that only the people there can imagine. The perfect night really.

If you stopped drinking, would it be a big deal?
No. If I wanted to give up, I could. But I enjoy drinking so I can't see myself doing it.

    Do you smoke?
    Yep.

Favourite thing about the opposite sex?
They're much better at listening to and dealing with problems than guys are.

    Ever been beaten up?
Yeah, I was bullied quite a bit when I was younger.

    Ever beaten someone else up?
I kick my brother's ass whenever I get bored.

Do you exercise regularly, eat your 5 fruite/veg a day, etc?
I don't exercise nearly as much as I want to, but I go for a run at least once a week. I want to start doing a lot more though.
I eat relatively healthy, especially for someone in College. I do all my own cooking, I get a pizza or chips or something once every few weeks when I'm too lazy to do any cooking myself.
On a related note, I never seem to put on weight. I've stayed the same build for the last 6 months I'd say. I wen through a long phase of doing no exercise, going out loads and eating badly, but it didn't affect me  weird...

1984. I also love The Life of Pi. American Psycho.

    Favourite movie(s)?
The Big Lebowski, The Machinist, Inglourious Basterds, Gran Torino, Fargo

    Favourite Soundtrack(s)?
I don't really listen to them to be honest. I liked the way in No Country for Old Men, the only music was when your man woke up in Mexico and the Mexican band were just there playing.

    LCD Soundsystem.

Being yourself is all that you can do. You agree or disagree?

What's the most important realisation you've made?

Have you ever performed publicly? How'd that go?

    Ogre-eating baby.

Disagree. Ever heard of actors? So many people are two-faced, and pretend to be who they aren't.

What's the most important realisation you've made?
The above. Related to this, don't be someone you aren't to try and make friends. Be friends with people who want to be friends with you.

Have you ever performed publicly? How'd that go?
Played for my Leaving Cert practical. It wasn't great really...came out with a B2 though :) I think that was down to my amazing listening and composition skills though :P
    deise_girl wrote: »

I thought they were the ones I had already answered. Sorry about that!
    :(
Also, your reason for joining boards?
I really don't know...I remember my brother had something about it a few years before I actually joined, then one day I just decided to join. The rest is history...

The bird is the word apparently.

If you could ask a question to Obama what would it be?

Have you ever set off a brutal chain reaction?

    Lefty or righty?
    Favourite comedy show?
Ever get involved in a really embarrassing situation that would make good viewing for anyone other than you?
Do you usually emerge victorious in arm wrestling contests?
Best guitar solo in a song ever?
Name an artist that deserves way more attention than it currently receives (can be an old or contemporary artist)?
If you could change your name (not your boards name) to something else, what would it be?
The Chinese: a great bunch of lads? Or too many lads? Those two questions could mean the same thing but you know what I mean.
    What's your preferred beverage?
Golden Delicious or Granny Smith? If you choose the former you're a fool! But I have faith in you.
Would you like me to lapdance for you?

Favourite comedy show? Anything with Bill Bailey
Ever get involved in a really embarrassing situation that would make good viewing for anyone other than you? Nothing that I can think of...
Do you usually emerge victorious in arm wrestling contests? I haven't had one in ages, but I tended to get beaten fairly often
Best guitar solo in a song ever? The final solo in this song:
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iJZYG5qwHHI

Name an artist that deserves way more attention than it currently receives (can be an old or contemporary artist)?
Fred, a brilliant band from Cork. It baffles me as to how they aren't huge.
If you could change your name (not your boards name) to something else, what would it be?
I like my name, so why would I change it?
The Chinese: a great bunch of lads? Or too many lads? Those two questions could mean the same thing
Too many... If it was a democracy it'd be a good laugh but you know what I mean.
    What's your preferred beverage?
Having a lovely coffee now. Yum.
Golden Delicious or Granny Smith? If you choose the former you're a fool! But I have faith in you.
Pink Ladies are the nicest apples.
Would you like me to lapdance for you?
Not really. But if you insist...
