    Hello,

    Are there any boffins who could give me a step-by-step guide as to how to add themes to my iPhone?
    Please bear in mind that I have nothing downloaded to the phone and am a complete luddite and no amount of detail is too much.
    I bet someone out there knows exactly how to do it, from start to finish. Thank you very much indeed.

    Look up iClarified.com on how to jailbreak your iPhone.
    Then install the Winterboard App from Cydia.

    afaik themes can only be installed on a jailbroken iphone which isnt possible with the latest os 3.1.3
