Even with payment by Paypal? The little woods one i can understand. no contract until dispatch, but does pixmania have something like that?

i copied theres T & C, but havent had a chance to go through it properly yet.

Iv read on a few consumer advice sites once they have your money, the contract is valid.

so someone makes a mistake in pricing and you think that they should be obligated to honour all the orders, even though it was a mistake, even though it could result in someone losing their job, even though it doesnt leave anyone out of pocket?

christ of almighty, the thinking of some people is unreal

So they cant pull the "we cant get the item" trick

AFIK if the price is obviously incorrect they can cancel the order BUT when is it too late for them? When have they accepted your cash? I'd say the delay is because they are in meetings with their lawyers all fooking day :-)

or has pixmania any office here?

This is a huge company, a couple of grand wont do them any harm.

fair point on someone loosing their job though. But at this point the decision about the person keeping their job is irrespective of us getting the item.

but its not your money either.

So because someone made a mistake and priced something wrong, you think you should be able to get the item at that price, even though they are not legally obliged to do so, even though you know its a mistake yet you are willing to complain until you do?

    IMO thats incredibly childish

U cant sack someone for making a mistake anywhere in Europe peeps! No matter how big it is!

Besides say pixmania loose 20 grand thats 20 grand from about 1 billion in sales (for 2007 they made 661 million euro!!!)

are u sure about that? Cos after what iv read, once the money is exchanged its deal done. Except if they have an opt out like littlewoods did in their terms and conditions .Pixmania does have this for credit card orders. not for paypal as the money has been accepted by Pixmania.....if they issue a refund its proof they have excepted the payment.
