Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi all,

Might be a stupid questions but wanted to check.

I was wonder is it possible to connect 2 xbox's over the internet without using xbox live.

My nephew plays on his own and asked if we could play against each other but I live in Dublin most of the week.

    It would literally be 1 v 1.

I see the option local, could this be used somehow?

Nah i'm pretty sure you need to use xbox live unless you are on the same network. Local means just that, as in your local network.

you could connect your xboxs to your laptops then connnect your laptops to the internet. Set up an Hamachi network and connect the laptop up. Bridge the connection between your xbox and hamchi on the laptop.

Run the game and go into local multiplayer mode, they should see each other

BTW local multiplayer mode has a max ping time of like 30ms so unless both your internets are the **** it probably wont work.
