Plan is to have dinner next week!! If you are up for it what day suits you? It will be pub grub going by it winning the poll.

A lot of profanity would be the best way to describe my reaction to low funds. Sick of having no money...stupid non-paying grant people

ok please don't diss people who get a grant... if it wasnt for the grant there is absolutely no way i would have being able to afford college.. even with the grant i still had to work. on top of college work i was working 7 days a week including a 6 hour bus trip every week. so trust me... it was nothing like being 'poxy'! Rant over!

You are assessed on your families circumstances not your own if you are a regular post leaving cert college student. "We" being the RoverJames clan :)

I used to be able to get a grant but now i can't anymore because my whole family (not me) is ****ing loaded now.

back in de day i used it to buy a brand new Apple iBook G4 and the shagging thing broke just after the warranty expired.

no need to feel bad about picking up grant money though, you will be paying it back your whole life in income tax and whatever the hell else they can take from you. a lot more than if you spent your days selling fish n chips in de rain outside some ****ty pre-teenage music gig from a dirrty ford transit with a little generator from Aldi outside and pouring diesel into the chip pan cause you're too poor to buy actual cooking oil

even though with de Recesh most of us will end up doing that anyway, PhD or not

That would be daft, cooking oil is cheaper than diesel :) If things got really bad you can run some diesel engines on it depending on the type of fuel pump and injection they have ;)

even green diesel? of course when times are good you run the van off it too, in the bad times you keep making chips with it until you're left with nothing but a slab of chip-residue
