    David from the Abbey Theatre has been in touch to let me know about First Fridays with Fiach MacConghail
    Following on from a successful launch meeting which took place in January, Fiach Mac Conghail, Director of the Abbey Theatre, will hold another open meeting for members of the theatre community who wish to engage with the Abbey Theatre at 10.30am on the 5th of February 2010.

    These meetings aim to give younger artists an opportunity understand how we work and give other theatre artists an opportunity to meet Fiach and his team informally over the course of the year and ask questions and create dialogue.

    All meetings will take place in the bar area of the Abbey Theatre and Fiach will be happy to answer any question relating to policy and programming however, he will not be in a position to discuss decisions made on individual projects, submitted scripts and feedback from auditions or individual meetings held.

    Further dates confirmed for 2010 include:
    • 5th March 2010
    • 7th May 2010
    • 3rd September 2010
    • 1st October 2010
    • 5th November 2010
    • 3rd December 2010
