Do I report dead Swans?

I noticed two dead swans in the Garavogue today quite close to Sligo town centre. Should I report them (am I right in thinking they are a protected species?) and if so to whom? We don't have a SPCA in Sligo!

Contact the National Parks and Wildlife Service. There have been a lot of losses due to the harsh weather but it may be something more sinister.

Srameen was there something there last year, a few swans dying from some disease or something. Nearly sure i seen something on the news.
