I'd be lucky to get half that... In any subject for that matter it's not about getting the A's for me it's about passing :/

    You have results already?!
Well done though, particularly with the Irish, there's no way I'd get that, especially because you skipped a whole question.

I have Maths 1 and CSPE tomorrow. Everyone says I'm good at maths and should get a good grade in it but I have no clue how they decided that

Dreading Paper 2 on Thursday... haven't even looked over theorems. I have Irish 1 that day aswell!

Question though. The layout of Irish (HL) paper 1 now is 2 comprehensions, grammar, listening and an essay, correct?

I'm sure you'll do fine maths wasn't that hard...

I had paper 2 maths today... :pac: Theorums who needs them!

Yep that's exactly the layout of the Irish just the listening is a lot shorter aswell!

Yes shorter listening! Will probably be harder though  Our teacher hasn't done the future tense with us so she told us to just put it in the past tense if it comes up :D

Maths 2 is theorems... triangles... what else?

It's not too bad tbh I don't like listening though!
You haven't done future? It's easy you just add fadh or feadh I think anyways!

We didn't have theorums on ours. Well we had but I was right that we didn't do them so instead got some extremely hard questions that I didn't have a clue how to do.
Area & Volume, Statistics, Co-Ordinate Geometry, Geometry and Trigonometry as far as I know comes up on Paper 2...

I'm happy to have them over with because I'm exhausted. I'm currently writing a letter to my old primary school teacher because she asked for a copy of my results. :p

I hated my primary school teachers...
On a few times I heard some teachers saying how I was out of control.
Another told my mother a pack of lies at a meeting and she used to take me outside the door and say how my mother would be disappointed and all this! :(

I only had 4 teachers, I loved two of them, thought one was ok and didn't like the other, though all of them liked me (teacher's pet!). :p:D

Teachers' pets ftw! :D You can get away with anything if you are the teacher's pet.

    Two more results back today.
History hl-83% but i reckon i could find the points to get up to an a.
    Science hl-85%, scraped it.

    Well done x2.

I know, I can get away with being 15 minutes late to science and with no homework done and no note. :D Seriously though, the amount of stuff I get away with; my history teacher is notorious for giving discipline sheets (5 discipline sheets in a term = detention) didn't give me one when I forgot homework, I'm allowed do my Irish homework and sleep during business etc.

    My teachers love me! :D

We had our French and Irish listening comprehensions today (separate from the actual exam for some reason). French wasn't too bad, I used to only get like 30 percent in listening tests last year and I've improved a lot since then. Irish was impossible.
My pres officially start tomorrow. I only have Music tomorrow, but after that we have two exams a day. D: I hope music is OK, it was one of my best Pre Pre results and I've kinda forgot about studying it, too worried about the other subjects. My Music teacher said at the parent teacher meetings that there's no reason why I shouldn't get an A, but I think I'll only get a B.

Don't say that don't say it don't don't don't! I am -freaking- out about Irish XD I haven't even done a Listening since September and we've been doing French ones for weeks... I'm going to start mixing up my French and Irish vocab as usual :D

I hate when teachers say "there's no reason why you shouldn't get x" because then you're under pressure to get that result and blaaagh.

Science was simple! Anyone else get the paper with the tick on it?

Business Paper 2 wasn't so good, my balance sheet didn't balance and I totally messed up on where to put things in ledgers. Hopefully I can scrape a B.

History & Religion tomorrow, better start revising.. :(

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 277 ✭✭Blue_Seas

Officially in panic mode about maths. PANIC. MODE.
Anyone do Paper 2 yet? Are the theorems difficult or is it one of the easier ones?
I wonder how much information about questions can be shared before it becomes "cheating" :o

I got four theorems on my paper, two hard, two easy.

All I know is that so far we've been getting DEB papers (the ones with the barcode).
I have a feeling I'll fail this paper, especially theorems :pac: Anyone get the really difficult ones? Like... past theorem 6?

To be honest i'm worried about science, our teacher spent most of the year on his computer instead of teaching us the course.. :(

I'm so freaked out about these theorems and I don't have enough time... I'm just going to leave them and go study triangles.

... think I could pass with that or should I >really< look over a certain theorem for a question? I think there was one with a triangle and drawing a circle inside it and using our maths sets... Horrible :P

You need the thoerems to answer the question really.
One on a parallelogram and pythagoras
I think it's been ages since I did mine.
