Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Have a 03 Hyundai Trajet 2.0l Gsi automatic which has started stalling on and off. Have noticed the CHECK ENGINE light on in the dash. Is this serious? Is it one for the main dealer or can a regular mechanic sort it?

Had something similiar on a vitara jeep a while back. It was a fuel injector and mine was under a warranty other than that it could have been expensive. Had no stalling, drove perfect.

Any good mechanic with the correct diagnostic tool should be able to help you. Where about are you in the country?

You can buy basic diagnostic readers that connect to a laptop for only a few € on flea-bay.

    Search " OBD2 USB " on it

Read the manual of your car. Some car manufacturers tell you not to drive the car at all, when the check engine light comes on.

It can be something simple, can also be something serious, so best to talk to a mechanic, that has the diagnostics to read the fault codes from your car.
