Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi all,

We are curently in Reps 4 - land has become available for rent locally.
Can we rent this land for the remaining duration of our Reps plan availing of the payments for that rented land aswell as the land we own?
    Thanks.
    Mick.

Simple answer No. Only leased land from the start of your plan till finish of plan is eligible for payment.

You also have to farm any extra land you rent to REPS standards.

Thanks Fellas - I understand we would be entitled to area aid at e36/acre.
This leave a big difference to cover the rental costs - not worth the time and effort!

you could consider buying SPS entitlements to put on the extra land, as an investment

Is it that simple. I am in a similar situation - startrd in reps 4 in Jan 10 - have 50 or so acres. If i rented another 50 acres now would i be aple to change my reps plan to include the 50 additional acres.

Afraid so, in order to get REPS on this land you would need to enter a new REPS 4 contract but as the scheme is closed thats not possible. If you do take it on you will have to farm it to REPS standard but yoiu wont get REPS payment on it.

It is that simple, if u rent 50 acres no good as rented land was never eligible, leased land only, no land can be added to a reps plan to increase payment.
